Founder of Navigating Neurodiversity | Parent Coach | Advocate for Neurodiverse Families
Hi, I’m Ashlee Turner, a passionate parenting coach, advocate, and proud mum of three beautiful girls: Keira, Billie, and Scarlet. Together with my husband Adam, we’re navigating the wonderfully complex world of neurodiversity through our children’s experiences with Autism, ADHD, anxiety and sensory processing disorder.
My journey into the world of neurodiversity coaching began not with a business plan, but with a mother’s determination. I’ve walked the overwhelming, often isolating path of searching for answers, advocating for my children, and trying to find a support system that truly gets it. Like so many other parents, I’ve faced the frustration of limited resources, misunderstanding from others, and the constant desire to help my children thrive in a world not always built for them.
That’s why I created Navigating Neurodiversity, a safe, supportive space for parents of neurodiverse children. A place where you’re not just heard but understood.
Over the years, I’ve immersed myself in training programs, workshops, and countless hours of research to better understand the unique needs of neurodiverse children and how to best support them. I’ve consulted with leading experts in the field and learned how to combine evidence-based strategies with real-world parenting. My mission is to pass that knowledge and heart, on to you.
Through one-on-one coaching, resources, and community support, I’m here to help you feel empowered, equipped, and encouraged. Whether you’re at the beginning of your neurodiversity journey or deep in the trenches, you don’t have to do it alone.
Working With Families Like Yours
Supporting parents of neurodiverse children requires patience, understanding, and deep empathy. Every family’s journey is different, and each parent brings their own experience, challenges, and hopes to the table. I believe in creating a space where parents feel safe to speak freely, have their feelings validated, and know they are not being judged.
I understand that it’s not always easy. Parents often feel overwhelmed, confused, or fearful about what lies ahead. You might be grappling with guilt, uncertainty, or just sheer exhaustion. That’s where I come in, not to give you all the answers, but to offer encouragement, reassurance, and real, practical tools to help you move forward with confidence.
Open communication and collaboration are at the heart of everything I do. I value your insights as the expert on your child. You know their strengths, their sensitivities, and their needs better than anyone else. My role is to walk beside you, not in front of you, to support your decisions, celebrate your wins, and work with you to build an environment where your child can truly thrive.
Let’s Navigate This Together
